NRMA Motoring & Services

The Australian Business Awards is delighted to recognise NRMA Motoring & Services as recipients of The Australian Business Award for Service Excellence category in its industry classification for 2013.

NRMA was formed in 1920 and now is Australia’s largest motoring group, and largest member organisation. NRMA has become the state’s peak voice for motorists, advocating on behalf of members on issues such as petrol and alternative fuels, electric vehicles, road and vehicle safety, licensing laws, road investment and the licensing demerit system.

NRMA has a dedicated member experience team whose main objective to work with the businesses to consistently improve the experience for their members and customers. Most of NRMA’s frontline staff have been through their member experience staff development program is designed to help them understand how they can “Make the Difference” for members and customers.  The course is tailored specifically for each part of the business and has been developed using feedback from members and customers. After a member or customer has an interaction with the NRMA, they are sent a short survey asking them to rate their experience, to tell NRMA what went well and if they weren’t totally satisfied, to let NRMA know where it can improve in the future.
