The Australian Business Awards is delighted to recognise AIG Australia Limited as recipients of The Australian Business Award for Service Excellence in its industry classification for 2013.

AIG Australia’s insurance claims team has more than 70 professionals located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth managing various lines of insurance business. During the Queensland floods, it was identified that the Claims Account Relationship Manager role was a major point of difference between AIG and competitors. The CARM acts as a liaison for clients and brokers, providing regular status reports, resolving issues efficiently and ensuring clients had a forum to ask questions, raise concerns and provide feedback to AIG.

At the core of our service is the CARM who builds a greater understanding of our client and broker needs, and partners with them to develop a comprehensive understanding of their requirements. By drawing on a wealth of knowledge and experience, the CARM will build and deliver a claims program that fits business needs and assists with immediate resolution of any claim service issues.
